  • This is a catch 22 situation. The existing Murex clients don't hire people with no experience. They are looking for trained and experienced Murex professionals. Due to this I recently missed a good job opportunity. I do hve almost 20+ years for Derivatrives analytical experince using other software. Howver, they were looking for Murex experience and as I didn't have the proper Murex training I was turned down.

You should seriously think of introducing some training in Murex. Follow the model by Bloomberg and SAP. They all offer courses. Bloomebrg offers free coiurses. They offer food, training and certification for the participants. The result is all the Banks are using Bloomberg. When more people are trained on the Murex program, that creats a demand for the program and there will be more people using Murex.

Bloomberg and SAP are huge success stories due to this business model they have in place.
